For Tutors

1. To engage in our services you must be a registered tutor with XseeksY Online Tuition Network.

2. To be eligible to register as a tutor with us, you must meet the following conditions.

(a) You must reside in mainland Singapore.
(b) You must have 'O' Levels as your minimum academic qualification.
(c) As and when required, you must be able to produce all necessary documents to certify your academic
qualifications.

3. You are expected to complete the registration form accurately. In the event if it is discovered in the future that the data you submitted is not entirely accurate, you will risk your status as a registered tutor with XseeksY Online Tuition Network.

4. All information submitted will be kept in full confidentiality and will be used by XseeksY Online Tuition Network only. All email addresses will be kept confidential. No email addresses will be circulated to any other external agencies, firms, companies or organisations.

5. After submitting your registration electronically through the online form, you should receive our confirmation through email within 48 hours.

6. Your summarised credentials will be posted on the web in the 'Tutors Database' page for invitations.

7. You are required to state your IC/Passport Number (for traceability) when requesting for any assignments online. Requests for assignments will not be considered if the tutor has not registered with the company. Tutors can submit their registration and requests simultaneously.

8. As no two tuition assignments are identical, the fees for different levels and subjects cannot be displayed online. Depending on the assignment, the range for the fees offered may be reflected on the 'Assignments Available' page. The tutor fees depend on the following factors:

(a) The educational level of the tutor.
(b) The experience of the tutor.
(c) The number of sessions per week.
(d) The duration of each session.
(e) The location of the assignment.
(f) The number of subjects.
(g) The number of students.
(h) The academic level of the student(s).e.g. Fees are higher for tertiary subjects compared to secondary subjects.

9. In the event when multiple requests are received for any available assignments, the assignments will be awarded based on the educational level and experience of the tutor.

10. You will be contacted through the telephone if your request for any assignment has been successful. If your bid is unsuccessful, you will be informed via email. If you do not have an email address, the only way to check the status of your request is to go to the 'Assignments Available' page to see if the assignment you requested for is still on the list.

11. You may request for as many assignments as you want, however, you are expected to accept your successful requests.

12. Once assignments are accepted, you are expected to stay committed to the student(s) at least until his/her/their next end of semester examinations.

13. The commission for the services rendered by XseeksY Online Tuition Network will be 40% of the tutor's fee for the first 4 weeks of tuition. In the event when the tuition assignment is discontinued before the completion of the first 4 weeks, the commission for services rendered will be :

(a) paid by the tutor if the assignment is discontinued by the tutor.
(b) paid by the student/guardian if the assignment is discontinued by the student/guardian.
(c) shared equally between the tutor and the student/guardian if the assignment is discontinued after a mutual agreement.

14. XseeksY Online Tuition Network will not be responsible for any discontinued assignments due to disagreements of any kind between the tutor and the student/guardian.

15. It is not the responsibility of XseeksY Online Tuition Network to provide the transportation details needed by the tutor to get to the location of the assignment.

For Students/Parents

1. To engage us in finding a suitable tutor for you, the student seeking tuition must reside in mainland Singapore.

2. Submit your particulars through the online form or contact us directly by telephone. If the online form is used, you will be contacted via the telephone within 24 hours.

3. Members of XseeksY Online Tuition Network do not have any personal association with most of the tutors registered with us. As a result, only the information provided by the tutors during registration will be used to find a suitable candidate for your specific tuition needs. XseeksY Online Tuition Network will not be able to find a suitable tutor based on their character, behaviour and personality. XseeksY Online Tuition Network will therefore not hold any responsibility for the actions of the recommended tutors.

4. Students/Guardians reserve the rights to verify the results of the tutors recommended by XseeksY Online Tuition Network before engaging their services. Verification of results will be carried out on the recommended tutor's first visit upon request. In the event when the results produced are not consistent with registered information with XseeksY Online Tuition Network, students/guardians will have the choice of accepting or rejecting the tutor.

5. XseeksY Online Tuition Network will not be held responsible for the grades of the students taught by the tutors recommended by the agency.

6. All information sent will be kept in full confidentiality and will be used by XseeksY Online Tuition Network only. All email addresses will be kept confidential. No email addresses will be circulated to any other external agencies, firms, companies or organisations.

(b) The experience of the tutor.
(c) The number of sessions per week.
(d) The duration of each session.
(e) The location of the assignment.
(f) The number of subjects.
(g) The number of students.
(h) The academic level of the student(s). e.g. Fees are higher for tertiary subjects compared to secondary subjects.

8. The commission for the services rendered by XseeksY Online Tuition Network will be 40% of the tutor's fee for the first 4 weeks of tuition. In the event when the tuition assignment is discontinued before the completion of the first 4 weeks, the commission for services rendered will be :

(a) paid by the tutor if the assignment is discontinued by the tutor.
(b) paid by the student/guardian if the assignment is discontinued by the student/guardian.
(c) shared equally between the tutor and the student/guardian if the assignment is discontinued after a mutual agreement.

9. The commission for the services rendered may be paid to XseeksY Online Tuition Network either by cheque or cash after the first 4 weeks from the commencement of the tuition assignment. Mode of payment may either be by post (for cheque only) or by hand (cheque or cash).

10. XseeksY Online Tuition Network will not be responsible for any discontinued assignments due to disagreements of any kind between the tutor and the student/guardian.
